Something that was never suppose to happen- Day #2- the next day

I could not believe my ears, it was a man calling from Social Security. I had just finished my online application yesterday. Not only was I called the next day, but the guy is working for free! How do I know that? I asked him. According to everything I have read and heard applications for SS are delayed in processing because of the government shutdown. Makes sense, people don't go to work for nothing, and neither was this guy. He was working because he was promised backpay. Kind a like a "back-order" when you order stuff online. It was a strange interview, basically re-asking the questions I had answered on the application. There were a lot of implied threats, letting me know I was being recorded, putting me under oath under threat of fines or imprisonments. I was so surprised to hear from anyone at all that I probably sounded like the strangest, happiest sworn in person he had talked to that day. He putting something in the mail, I'll let you know what it is exactly when I get it.
